Adele Smith School of Dance are currently offering classes in ballet for younger students.
Our tiniest dancers can begin their dance experience with Royal Academy of Dance specially designed syllabus 'Dance to Your Own Tune,' which has been created for children aged 2.5-5yrs and focusses on developing their enthusiasm to learn, musicality, sense of rhythm, spacial awareness, coordination and also their social skills. Carefully crafted classes will allow your child to foster dance skills and technique through the fun and imaginative world of play.
Our slightly older dancers will have the opportunity to begin their dance journey with the Royal Academy of Dance PrePrimary (5yrs) and Primary (6yrs+) syllabus. This is a more structured class with specific exercises that form part of the syllabus that will allow them to take an exam, should they wish. While these classes are more structured, there are still plenty of opportunities for fun with props, stories and imagination.
Children's classes are held in the beautiful Jubilee Hall at New Park Centre and benefit from a sprung floor, perfect for ballet.
